EduFusion Nucșoara

With the support of Synevo România and Asociația Medicover, we carry forward the story of EduFusion – our heartfelt project for emotional support through art – and this time we reach Școala Gimnazială Nucșoara de Jos, Prahova county.

On May 8, 50 children took part in workshops dedicated to exploring emotions, learning how to observe them, express them, and manage them with gentleness towards themselves. In many communities, children grow up without knowing how to put into words what they feel or how to manage fear, anger, or sadness. At EduFusion, we offer them a friendly place where they can explore these emotions through play, stories, and simple exercises, in an environment where they're understood, not judged.

Marius, EduFusion ambassador

Marius Constantinescu, psychotherapist and ambassador of the project, guided the little ones with patience and gentleness, turning the classroom into a safe space full of imagination. Through the story of Leo, the boy with unruly curls and untied shoelaces, the children discovered that everyone – even the heroes in stories – has moments of fear, anger, or sadness.

Together with his imaginary friends, the Lion, the Turtle, and the Elephant, Leo showed the children how to recognize the signals from their bodies that tell us how we feel and how we can stay safe.

What we experienced together

The children of Nucșoara showed us how quickly they can connect with stories that speak honestly about emotions. When they hear that others also go through fear or sadness, they dare to say "me too!" and open up.

The workshop gave them a context in which creativity, painting, and honest conversations allowed them to be authentically themselves. They were curious, engaged, and glad to learn how they can listen to their bodies and find balance in difficult moments.

About EduFusion

EduFusion is an innovative educational project that brings together art therapy, emotional education, and creativity, to give children:

• a safe space where they can talk about emotions,
• simple, interactive exercises for regulating emotions,
• moments of play and art that support self-awareness,
• authentic emotional support from adults who truly listen to them.

The works created by children in the EduFusion workshops can be discovered in the virtual exhibition on edufusion.ro – a place where every painted emotion becomes a testament to their courage to express themselves.

Growing together, step by step

The workshop in Nucșoara reminded us how much it matters to give children real opportunities for expression, trust, and connection. Many of them told us they can't wait to come back to EduFusion.

This project isn't just about emotions – it's about how we learn together to understand them, honor them, and turn them into resources for a more balanced life.
