With the support of Asociația Provident pentru Educație and Provident Financial România, we organized the 3rd edition of the charity event "Împreună în Timp," an initiative for single-parent families in Iași, Vaslui, Neamț, and Suceava counties. The event took place on November 10, 2024, at Sala Unirii a Ateneului Național din Iași.
According to the Invizibilii study (www.invizibilii.ro), there are over 300,000 single-parent families in Romania. Single parents feel enormous time pressure: they're stressed about not spending enough time with their children, yet at the same time need to be fully employed to cover expenses. That's why a support network is needed to sustain the education and harmonious development of children raised by a single parent. This is where we step in.
Through the "Împreună În Timp" program, Asociația POT SĂ AJUT aims to address the needs of single-parent families through three essential pillars:
- quality time together: sociocultural and educational events that give parents and children a safe, accessible environment to reconnect;
- financial support: scholarships for talented children, allowing them to continue their education and pursue their passions;
- personal and professional development: hands-on workshops, creative activities, and psychological counseling sessions for parents and children.
Beneficiaries: 800 children and parents from single-parent families.
Through our collaboration with Asociația Pot Să Ajut under the Invizibilii program, we're betting on a long-term approach with real impact. We've reached the third "Împreună în Timp" event because we've seen how important it is to feel that you're not alone, that you're part of a community. We're now meeting in Iași and carrying forward our mission of drawing society's attention to the needs of people whose day-to-day struggles are easy to overlook. We create beautiful family moments through art, play, and education. Year after year, we want to do more good.
