Meaningful Days Bucharest

On May 19, 2026, we had the joy of taking part in the first Charity Market edition, an event dedicated to community, volunteering, and good deeds, organized by Asociația Provident pentru Educație, at the Provident headquarters in Bucharest.

The initiative brought together Provident employees (#ProviTeam), volunteers, and members of the INVIZIBILII community in a collaborative setting where simple gestures were turned into messages with real impact for seniors. During the activities, dozens of magnetic plaques with words of encouragement were created, dedicated to elderly people from the Direcția Generală de Asistență Socială și Protecția Copilului Sector 6, beneficiaries of the „Zile cu Sens – mișcare și dans alături de Wilmark” program.

Over the course of the event, the messages created outgrew the space initially prepared for them, becoming a symbol of genuine involvement and the desire to bring joy to the community.

Charity Market was an experience about solidarity, connection, and social responsibility, in which participants actively contributed to building a meaningful collective moment.

Volunteering and community involvement in Bucharest

In a social context where authentic interaction is becoming increasingly rare, volunteering and community-impact projects play an essential role in strengthening relationships between people.

Charity Market offered a setting where participants could contribute directly to a social cause, through creative, collaborative activities dedicated to seniors.

The event highlighted the importance of developing a culture of solidarity and social responsibility, in which active participation becomes a real form of connection between people and generations.

What was Charity Market like?

Charity Market brought together Provident employees, volunteers, and members of the INVIZIBILII community in an event marked by energy, collaboration, and genuine emotion.

The activities included:

• making magnetic plaques with supportive messages for seniors from DGASPC Sector 6
• creative, interactive sessions held together with #ProviTeam
• conversations and exchanges with members of the INVIZIBILII community about the impact of social and educational activities
• promoting volunteering and good deeds in the community.

A special moment of the event was the contribution of Mrs. Any Ioana, a beneficiary of the Zile cu Sens program, who created a painting dedicated to the younger generation. The artwork was later given as a prize in an internal good-deeds raffle organized for Provident employees.

Throughout the day, the atmosphere was defined by collaboration, openness, and a sincere desire to contribute to the good of the community.
