On December 16, 2025, at Teatrul Masca in Bucharest, we organized the 3rd edition of ArtFinEdu, the event that makes financial education more accessible and easier to understand for single-parent families, through art, play and interactive experiences.
Organized by Asociația POT SĂ AJUT, with the support of Asociația Provident pentru Educație and Provident Financial România, the event is part of the Invizibilii program, a national initiative supporting the social and financial inclusion of vulnerable groups.
Financial education through art
In Romania, the level of financial education remains low, and its impact is felt most among vulnerable families, where financial decisions are often made under the pressure of limited resources.
For single-parent families, this reality is even more visible: managing a budget on a single source of income comes with multiple responsibilities and a lack of applied learning contexts.
Through ArtFinEdu, we propose a different approach: instead of theoretical explanations, we build experiences where parents and children learn together, in an accessible, practical and relevant way.
How it went in Bucharest
The event brought together over 100 children and parents from single-parent families from Sector 6, in a cultural venue that became, for a few hours, a place of learning and connection.
Participants explored essential concepts such as saving, budgeting and making financial decisions, through activities tailored to their age and needs.
Instead of theory, the experience was built around interactive moments:
- a financial education workshop led by Andrei Popa – Profesorul de Bani, where concepts were explained through simple, applied examples
- the interactive show „Mărunțilă și Bancnoțilă", with the Miniricii theatre troupe, which turned ideas about money into an accessible, easy-to-understand form
- moments of interaction and dialogue between participants, which encouraged active involvement
Teddy, ambassador of good deeds
MC and ambassador of good deeds, Teddy (Toader Păun) chose to stay close to vulnerable communities and turn time spent together into moments that matter. A man in search of people, experiences and places #DeMilioane, Teddy stands by us as we do #WeCareTogether for seniors and single-parent families.

The event combined hands-on learning with an artistic experience, through an interactive workshop led by Andrei Popa – Profesorul de Bani and the show „Mărunțilă și Bancnoțilă", alongside the Miniricii theatre troupe. The activities were rounded out by moments of interaction and play, in an accessible format that helped participants understand financial concepts naturally.

Impact
The event helped build essential skills for everyday life, in an adapted, accessible way.
Through interactive, relevant experiences, participants left not just with information, but with a clearer understanding of how they can make better financial decisions.
